Dragon's blood is the intensely red resin of the dragon's blood tree. This valuable natural resin owes its properties to around 40 different active ingredients, including phenols, flavonoids, steroids, and terpenoids. Dragon's blood is naturally rich in OPC – it thus contains up to 90% of one of the most effective natural antioxidants.
Our purest dragon's blood comes 100% from sustainable, hand-harvested trees grown by the indigenous Quichua people. The dragon's blood is extracted by tapping the bark of the trees. These trees grow at altitudes of over 1000 meters, far from air pollution and soil contamination.
Through a fruitful partnership with the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Graz, we have developed innovative quality control procedures for dragon's blood. Thanks to this close collaboration, we can proudly point out that our dragon's blood clearly demonstrates highly valued ingredients compared to other products on the market.
