CONSISTS OF:
100% horse ribs with meat
AVAILABLE:
in the piece
DESCRIPTION:
Horse ribs are considered a "calcium source" in BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) feeding. This means that feeding horse ribs strengthens your dog's own bones and cartilage. Therefore, bones should not be omitted from a BARF diet. If bones are not tolerated, bone meal (e.g., horse bone meal) can be used as an alternative.
WARNING: Too many bones can make the stool very hard - it's best to always mix with muscle meat.
Bone-like stool (white, crumbly stool) is occasionally beneficial because it cleanses the anal glands!
SUITABLE FOR:
Dog (Adult)
Analytical constituents:
Crude protein: 18.9%
Crude fat: 6.4%
Humidity: 68.5%
(Analyses of natural products are subject to natural variations).
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
2-3 times per week as a healthy addition to the BARF diet.
Example: A 20 kg dog needs approximately 80g of bone per day. Horse ribs can therefore be fed in pieces several times a week (as a snack or a whole meal).
The recommended amount is a guideline and may vary individually.
It will keep for approximately 2 days in the refrigerator.
Can be thawed and later refrozen!
