Cod liver oil has a high natural vitamin D content. This vitamin is important for bones and joints.
Cod liver oil also contains valuable omega-3 fatty acids.
Cod liver oil does not contain any preservatives.
The oil should be refrigerated after opening and used within 8 weeks. If stored in a cool place, natural components may precipitate and make the oil appear milky or streaky. This is not a loss of quality ! In a warm environment the oil becomes clear again.
DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION:
As a cure or in alternation with vegetable oils, for example.
Cats and dogs up to 20 kg: 1/2 teaspoon daily
Dogs over 20 kg: 1 teaspoon daily
Dogs over 40 kg: 2 teaspoons daily
Dogs over 60 kg: 1 tablespoon daily
