Product Details
CONSISTS OF:
Shoulder cartilage from calf
AVAILABLE:
In pieces (flat slices)
DESCRIPTION:
Cartilage contains calcium. Calcium is very important for a balanced BARF diet. Approx. 30% of the BARF food should consist of bones and cartilage. Veal cartilage also represents a good chew for your dog.
You can also feed the veal cartilage as a whole meal, e.g. veal cartilage in the morning and muscle meat in the evening.
However, we recommend using the veal cartilage as a treat. E.g. 1-2 pieces of veal cartilage in the evening - depending on the size of your dog.
Veal cartilage is also suitable for puppies because it is not very hard.
SUITABLE FOR:
Dog (puppy, adult, senior)

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION:
For a 20 kg dog we recommend approx. 4x veal cartilage per week.
The veal cartilage can be fed like a treat. 1-2 pieces either in the morning or in the evening.
Our feeding recommendations are guidelines and can of course vary depending on the dog.
Can be kept in the fridge for approx. 2-4 days.
Can be defrosted and frozen again later!
CAUTION: Bones and cartilage can splinter. Therefore, supervise your pet while eating.
If the dog's faeces are too hard, you may have fed too many bones or cartilage.
